This is a project for the jigsaw and the scroll saw. Great for the kids to practice co-ordination. And once the cutting and sanding is done, the kiddies can color the details using their imagination. Make a few or make dozens!
Approximate Time:
Cut your 1x4 inch board into 3 1/2 inch pieces. Trace your pattern onto cardboard drawing, just the outline. A cereal or cracker box will work nicely for this. Lay your pattern on the board and draw around it with a pencil. Cut the pieces out with the scroll saw, and sand smooth.
Using your own imagination, design your musclemen. Or if your children are old enough to do so, they will love designing their own.
