This is one of many gorgeous sunsets out at Whiskey Run beach near Bandon, Oregon. This is my absolute favorite beach. It is where I used to go to clear my dramatically-stressed head in high school, and its where my husband, years after high school, first told me he'd fallen in love with me. While visiting this precious ground, I was mesmerized by the amazing hues of pink provided, not only in the sky, but by the shallow reflection beneath us, as well.
Whiskey Run is actually known for its black sand deposits, which signal that there are platinum and gold deposits nearby!
