I don't know the name of these flowers in my garden, but they remind me of a flock of white geese.

Whatever they are, they are gorgeous!
The name of that plant is Gooseneck Loosestrife - very appropriately named!
Hello Southern Saver,
Thanks for naming my flowers. I thought it was some kind of loosestrife, but didn't go for the obvious. Haha. Yep, very appropriate. I love these when they are in bloom, but they're VERY invasive and are hard to get rid of once they start taking over the garden bed. Last fall I put down landscape cloth to try to limit them a bit. We'll see how that works out this summer. Thanks again for your comment--would love your vote, too.
Many thanks, Robyn. Yes, they're really striking. I get a lot of comments from the walkers and joggers that go past my yard. :)

I agree the loosestrife is just gorgeous but is it extremely invasive. It's very, very hard to eradicate because if there is one teeny, tiny root left many inches under the soil - it lives again:)
Hi Rose, hi Aburn,
Boy howdy, are you right about that! I tried everything to keep the little boogers under control but they always came back. Last fall I put down landscape fabric. So I'm holding my breath to see if they stay put this spring.
Thanks for your comments and votes.
