Refreshing and healthful fresh fruit drinks for summer from Mexico.
Combine all ingredients in a blender and whirl 'til smooth. Pour into tall glasses and serve. (If making in advance, skip ice cubes. Puree and refrigerate - pour over ice when ready to serve.) Other fruits and combos can be used as well. Pineapple and mango are good.
Also, save the juice, seeds and pulp from one or two cantaloupe centers. Puree those items in a blender with 1 cup cold water, 1 tablespoon sugar and 2 teaspoons lime juice until smooth. Place in a jar and refrigerate at least 5 hours. Strain through sieve and serve over ice.
