We have a 6-8 year old Chorkie and a 2-3 month old Shweenie puppy. The Chorkie is potty trained to go outside and has been really good until the puppy got here. The puppy is potty-pad trained. Now the Chorkie won't eat unless shut up in the bedroom away from everyone and is pooping while in there.
She'll still go outside and pee there, but she's been pooping on the carpet when we close her in the bedroom to feed her (she refuses to eat unless put somewhere alone). What can we do to stop this behavior? We've caught her twice right after the act and have cleaned it up and disciplined her, but she seems to just do it anyway. I walk her 3 times a day, too, so there''s no reason, but jealousy, that I can come up with for her acting this way. Both are females, by the way.
