Blackie (Black Lab/German Shepard)

Blackie is approximately 11 months old. He is a Black Lab and German Shepard. We adopted Blackie a couple of months ago from an agency in Stover, Missouri. He had all of his shots and had been housebroken. His owners just couldn't keep him any more.

Blackie likes to play with his squeakie toys, hang out with my son in his room and go for walks in the park with my son's friend Rachie and her female dog Heidi (Blackie's sweetheart). They like to cuddle in the extended cab when my son goes to pick Rachie up and bring her over to our house for awhile. Sometimes I go along too and we all have a great time!

Blackie has the sweetest disposition. He is so lovable and likes to make friends with whoever visits. It was more than a week before I ever even heard him bark. That was because I let him out one morning and the first thing he saw was the cows across the road grazing. He had never seen cows before, so they were quite an amazement!
