I lost my husband in February and it still feels like it was yesterday. So I need a support group of people that are going through the same things I am. Can anyone help me find a widow support group?

Some churches have support groups for widowed and divorced people. This group is usually sponsored and meets in Catholic Churches. Meetings of this type, and other meetings are usually listed under a specific section of the newspaper, and the section varies according to the location. You could also call various churches and ask if they have that type of group meeting there. You are bound to hit one that if they don't host a group, knows of a church that does. When I got divorced I attended one for both widowed and divorced people that met at a Catholic Church, this group was non-denominational. Your pastor might even know of a group, as well as some of your friends.
Check with your local hospital or behavioral health faciltiy. They frequently have groups which can help youl
The community pages of local newspapers often list support group times and meeting places; another place to look is your local version of The Thrifty Nickel (Penny-Saver, etc) classified paper.
I hope you find a group soon. Support groups are a wonderful help.
I lost my husband in 2007 and went to a site called Widowland, a support online group. They helped greatly till I could make it through a day without tears. It's getting better but it'll never be easy or ever the same. Good luck.

So sorry about your loss. God bless.
This is an on line support group but they have groups of live people who meet and they will have links to get in touch with these local groups. It is church based griefshare.org I lost my husband of 40 yrs in April and this does help a lot.
First of all I am so very sorry for your loss. I know what you are going through as I lost my dear husband in Oct. He was my world, my best friend & the love of my life. I had it all as he was affectionate, adoring, loving, a fixer upper, you name it & he was it. I wanted for nothing.
He gave me 3 beautiful children, was a great provider & he always took great care of me. I only wished I had been able to clone him & then let others see that I had the best. I am very fortunate that he picked me to marry & we had 50 wonderful years of marriage.
I attended a bereavement group @ a hospice group. Go online to find a local hospice & contact them. It helped me somewhat but things will never be the same. I felt like my world fell apart & I am s.l.o.w.l.y healing. The grief will never go away but hopefully my heart will slowly heal.
My hope is to once again feel joy & happiness. I realize this is not an easy request & my sweet husband would not want me to be sad for the rest of my life. I try to focus on the happy & funny things he did & said to make me enjoy my life with him. I still cry a lot & it is so lonely & empty @ times. But I keep trying & hopefully you will too. Blessings.
