My mother, who has Alzheimers, has developed an addiction to McDonald's hamburgers. She seldom ate there before this disease took over. Now she wants to stop at every one we pass.

My mama (90) just died in January and she had some form of mental decline.
God bless you for standing by your mom as she deals whith this terrible affliction. Brain and lung cancer took my mother four years ago, and I still find myself wanting to call every time I have news, good or bad.
That is perfect taking her to get her hamburger as it means so much to her. As this is what happened to my mom. She would get so happy. I read this with a few happy tears. After my mom was gone, a book came out on caring for Alzhiemer
