Sheesh! I thought I was the only willowy gal who faced that problem! If you have a WalMart you may find something there. I had to do the same thing years ago when work changed our uniforms. Good luck!
Thrift stores are the best place. Our Community one has a sale right now. everything but coats and jeans are 1.00. Jeans are only 1.50. If I can check it out and find some I'd be glad to help you out but you'd be responsible for shipping charges.
I have a grandson who needs jeans with a 34" waist and 38-40" inseam. For guys you just don't find reasonably priced ones (anyway we don't consider them reasonably priced). We have only found two stores that handle them and they are brand names, and sell, at the cheapest for $40.00 each. Boy you have to hit the stores at the right time, because usually they only have one or two pairs. These are both stores that sell western clothing.
If they don't have to be new, try "nearly new", Goodwill, St. Vincent DePaul, & Salvation Army type of stores. You can get some items that are new with tags on yet, or lightly worn. Some stores have 1/2 price Mondays or coupons in newspapers.
Goodwill has jeans for .99 cents at the end of each month. They need $$$$, you need stuff. A win-win situation. Go there, buy, enjoy.
How about www.buffalofreecycle.org
Type in your city and go from there.
Good luck.
Try the clearance racks at Kohls, if you have one nearby. They have amazing bargains in their clearance racks.
