Water From Flowerpot Left Stain on Carpet?

I have an old stain from over watering a plant and didn't know it. How would ammonia work? We have tried a carpet cleaner and commercial solutions, they didn't do much. I have an apartment and have an inspection because I am moving. I need help. Please.

Sprinkle some table salt on the stain, then spray with a 50-50 solution of Hydrogen Peroxide and water. Let sit for a minute or so, then rub with a rag. This should take care of it - Good Luck!
