How to Roast Garlic
The only 'cooking' involved in this appetizer plate is the actual roasting of the garlic. It is really quite simply, just follow these steps.
1.Pre-heat the oven to '00 degrees
2.Peel away the outer loose' skin of the garlic bulb
3.Slice the top quarter of the garlic bulb off exposing some of the garlic cloves.
4.Place the garlic in a small roasting dish.
5.Spoon or drizzle olive oil on top of the exposed garlic cloves.
6.Cover the garlic with tin foil.
7.Roast for 30 to 35 minutes.
8.Once browned, remove and let cool slightly.
One tip is to roast several heads of garlic at once and set the extra aside to enjoy with meals during the week!
Assembling the Roasted Garlic Goat Cheese Plate
1.Slice the french bread into small rounds and place in a basket to serve.
2.Place honey in a small serving dish with a serving spoon.
3.Sprinkle a mount of walnuts onto one area of the place.
4.Place the roasted garlic in the middle of the plate with a small serving fork so that guests may remove the roasted garlic from each clove.
Good luck.
Add to roasted vegetables or any meat dishes. Goes well with toast.
