In a Ziploc bag combine the 2 cake mixes and shake to mix. For each individual cake serving, take out 3 tablespoons of the the cake mix (combined) and mix with 2 tablespoons of water, in a microwave-safe container. Microwave on high of 1 minute.
Keep the remaining mix in the plastic Ziploc in the cupboard. Use it anytime you need a snack. You can use any flavor of cake with the angel food cake for variety. Such as red velvet or carrot or spice.

I've been making this for years, and I've used all kinds of cake mixes. I mix the two cake mixes in a large plastic ice cream container with an airtight lid. Tupperware would work, too.
Since there's two of us, I do 6 TBS. mix, 4 TBS. water (1/4 cup), and one minute, 30-45 seconds in the microwave, in a small Corning ware casserole dish.
Right now, I've got red velvet and I bought some cream cheese icing to top it.
