Making a Scarf for Someone Having Chemo?

I am looking for a pattern for a kind of scarf for my boyfriend's mom. She will be starting chemo on Monday. She hates wigs and she has seen these scarves, she said they are a triangle, with a head band and you can tie it if you want. They are made out of material.

Try this website: www.fmfcorp.com/.../haircover.html. There is a pattern for a triangle scarf as well as several other head coverings.

I have 3 great links for you! ... I myself was just researching what dimensions to sew myself a scarf (for bad hair days) when I found these wonderful sites. (Most rectangular scarves are about 14" x 60" long, but the size can vary quite a bit!) Here are the sites:

Try the crafster.org site. They have a site "crafting for good" that lists several things you can make for mommas in chemo. Her local cancer support group would be an excellent place to contact also.
