If the are to be attached top to bottom (vertically), just put the bottom (or top) loops on the knitter at the same time as the other stitches (2 at a time) then just knit one row then finish off.

To attach them side to side (horizontally), you can do it one of 2 ways. You can attach the last edge stitch to the last stitch knitted (on the peg at the same time) then knit these 2 stitches together & do this all the way down the project.
OR: an easier way is to buy a big-eye yarn needle & put the same yarn in the needle's eye then stitch these 2 areas together in a back & forth motion.
