How can I make a thermos?

i am making a thermos. for the bottom; half a water bottle in tin foil to prevent radiation. Then, there will be an air space to prevent conduction and convection. Around the air space i am putting Styrofoam, and I'm wrapping the whole thing in cotton and material. For the lid; i am placing a piece of rubber, then covering it in Styrofoam, and cotton and material. duh!

Try making a Styrofoam container surrounded in duct tape, or try using fiber glass surrounded in bubble wrap!

fibreglass, styrofoam and aluminum foil are good

Can anyone tell me if duct tape and Bubble wrap actually works to keep a cold can of pop cold all day long? In room temperature?
