A family favorite.
With a mixer beat the cottage cheese until nearly smooth. Add whipping cream. Set aside. Then in a large mixing bowl combine the sugar, flour, and salt. Stir in the slightly beaten egg and egg yolk, corn syrup, and melted butter. Stir in the cottage cheese mixture.
Pour mixture into baked pastry shell and bake ar 350 degrees F. for 45-50 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool pie. Place in refrigerator for 4 hours before serving. Top with slices of lemon or orange.
Serves 8.

Hi! Can you tell us what the texture and taste resembles? Is it like cheesecake? Have you used any kind of flavoring or mixed anything in it?
My goodness, I have wanted this recipe for years, my grandmother used to makeit for me, now I can make it Thankyou so much for posting this. It's been 55 years since I have had a piece of Cottage Cheese Pie.
I honestly think it tastes like a sweetcream pie, or a custard pie, Gramma added a little nutmeg on top.
