There is a Plum Sauce recipe on the side of the Ezy-Sauce bottle but haven't tried it as yet.

Hello, I just bought a bottle of Ezy Sauce expecing the recipe to be on the bottle but alas it's not there. I haven't made it sin ce 2017 annd can't remember the recipe.

If you google ezy sauce recipe for plum sauce you will get a good one. I did and its lovely. The sauce gives it that nice tang.

I have made plum sauce using wilds ezy-sauce follow the ezy-sauce recipe on the bottle for there tomato sauce substitute the tomatoes with red plums. Leave out the garlic. The whole family loved this.

I have also made the plum sauce recipe on the newer bottles of there ezy sauce and it also tastes great.

EZY-SAUCE - Plum Sauce.

1 bowl 1 saucepan

3 kg. dark plum ripe 1 1/2 L water 4 cloves garlic roughly chopped
1/2 cup EZY-sauce 6 tsp salt 1 1/2 kg. sugar
Method
1. Place plums, garlic and water into a large saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil stirring occasionally, until stones have separated.
3. Push through a colander over a large bowl and remove stones.
4. Return pulp and liquid to original, rinsed saucepan.
5. Add Ezy sauce, sugar and salt.
6. Boil gently for approximately 2 hours or until sauce thickens.
7. Pour into hot, sterilised bottles and seal.
Notes - Makes approximately 2½ litres.
Chicken wings in plum sauce, pork and plum sauce, the list goes on and on.

Plum Sauce.
Extract of RECIPE as Written on EZY-SAUCE Bottle.
Place 3 kg ripe, dark plums, roughly chopped and 1½ litres of water into a large saucepan.
Bring to the boil. Stir occasionally, until stones loosen and plums are soft and pulpy.

Push through a colander over a large bowl, removing stones.
Return pulp and liquid to rinsed saucepan. Add ½ cup Ezy-Sauce, 1½ kg. sugar, 5 tsp. salt and 2 tsp. ginger mixed with sufficient water to mage a smooth paste.
Boil gently uncovered for 1-2 hours or until thick pouring consistency.
Fill, using a small funnel or jug into hot sterilized jars and seal.
Maker approximately 4 litres.

Freeze your plums first then thaw the pips will pop out easy just squeeze out the pips
