I am painting my cabinets white and want to know if it is a good idea to paint the adjoining family room paneling the same as the walls in kitchen? One wall in kitchen is plain and flows into the family room. What color for paneling?

Do whatever you want in your house. It has to be your decision and you don't have to worry about matching the white of the cabinets because anything will go with white.
