Use an old washer tub for bonfires. Fill it up with wood and watch the pretty glow of fire through the holes. Just don't lay unused wood next to it. It will burn through the holes! For campers, you could also lay a grate over it to cook. Love this!

Please don't do this with an old washer tub unless it is a stainless steel one. A friend of mine used a porcelain tub for a fire pit and it exploded and mangled his 8 year old daughter's arm. She had to have extensive surgery to have the damage reapaired.
