I don't know anything about a rainbow party. I was chosen to take the color yellow to decorate my table. Can anyone give me some ideas and some ideas on food that got to be yellow?

Food: deviled eggs
egg salad tea sandwiches
lemon tarts
lemon poppyseed bread/muffins
peach pie, tarts
pineapple pie,tarts
lemon/peach jello salads
cheese quiche (little individual ones)
cheese/cracker tray
Decor: white/yellow table cloth with matching napkins (get paper ones from the dollar store)
vase(s) of yelow/ white flowers(real or fake)
strips of crepe paper in a plaid pattern over the basic tablecloth
You could make a yellow cake ..but add extra yellow coloring to enhance the yellow.
Make a pretty fruit & veggie tray including : sliced yellow summer squash, yellow bell pepper strips, sliced mango, pineapple, golden delicious apple slices. To make your yellow items on this tray or platter really 'pop', put a layer of darker green romaine lettuce or baby spinach underneath the yellow fruits/veggies.
Best of luck at your Rainbow party!

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions for yellow snacks and crafts for a Rainbow Tea?

I would make lemonade, with slice of fresh lemon in the pitchers. You could also make lemon bars or even yellow cake ball desserts. In terms of crafts, not sure if you are looking for crafts to sell or make, but if you have any straw hats you can decorate them with yellow tulle, ribbons and sunflowers or other yellow flowers.
Maybe you could make deviled eggs and yellow cheese tray with crackers. For a dessert you could cut up banans, fresh pineapple, yellow apples, yellow pears (skin on) and make a yellow yogurt dip (this could be plain vanilla just put a few drops of yellow food coloring in it).
Lemonade, sugar cookies with yellow frosting, banana cream pie, decorations could be a bowl full of lemons.
Crafts-yellow place mats with white daisies.
