Lefty (Cat)

Lefty is around 5 years old. The vet referred to her as a bunch of cats patched together. Lefty and her 4 siblings were found as we were driving on a country road on a very hot summer day. They had been left there in a box. We just happened to see her brother walking down the middle of the blacktop and stopped. There were 3 boys and 2 girls. Lefty and her sister were very sick and weak. I wasn't sure they would make it back to the vet.

Lefty is blind, but she doesn't let that stop her! She climbs to the top of the 3 level scratching post to sleep with her brother and sister (we still have 3 out of 5). Even through she has limited sight, she plays with fuzzy toys (red is best). Lefty has the best disposition and attitude toward life. She is calm, loving, accepts things as they are, and keeps moving forward at a steady pace with purpose. I want to be like her! She is a great example of joyful, peaceful living.
