I used to do janitor work for a college. We always cleaned windows with windshield washer fluid. It is cheaper and in winter you can get the below zero kind. It squeegees off beautifully. I still use it at home.
A wonderful all purpose cleaner that kills germs, smells great and also makes glass looked polished:
2 cups Water
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon lavendar essential oil
Mix all and put into spray bottle. Shake often.
