We have some stunning sunsets here in Moorpark, right outside our front door. I know everyone has them too.
I worked in Chatsworth before I had to retire. On the drive home I was delighted to be able to see 5 different glorious sunsets. Leaving Chatsworth driving past the "Sleeping Indian" formation (which you don't notice until the sun is behind the mountains but still light), over the hills, down into Simi Valley and through town, then over more hills to Moorpark (at the time only 3500 people lived here, now more like 35,000) and then finally, home to one more lovely sunset.
I miss those sunsets, but am content to watch from the front door."

Beautiful photo, GGVi! Sunsets and sunrises are definitely one of God's great gifts :-)
Very unusual rock formations. They look almost like trees growing down a ridge. Beautiful Sunset would certainly get my attention too. Lovely photograph Vi.
Thanks for sharing it with us.

Pookarina, you're so adorable! Those rock formations are trees :-) I can't remember what they are called right now but they are a type of evergreen and reach amazing heights in just a few short years. We used to have a row of them along one portion of our property when I was a little girl. Many people living on flat lands plant them in a row, especially farmers, because they are great to use as wind breakers and for privacy.
I've been known to pull over to admire sunsets in years past. Even though you're down to only one view now, I know you're enjoying it for me, too. Thanks, GG Vi!
