She was given to me and I just wanted to know if she was pure bred?

You would have to do a DNA test to know for sure. It shouldn't matter though. Since you don't know her lineage, breeding is a bad, bad idea. Thousands and thousands of animals are euthanized each year due to overpopulation and they all started out as "cute puppies". Please keep this in mind and just enjoy your little cutie as a pet.
I have a full blooded chi with papers. Your puppy is so close to what mine is, I would say Yes your dog is indeed a chi
I have had Chihuahuas for many years and your new baby certainly looks like a pure bred Chi to me! I just love her ears! I currently have 3 Chis and only one has the bat ears like that, not all of them do. But when they do, they do they are gorgeous!
As others have said, please don't breed her. Two of the 3 that I have now were unwanted rescues before I adopted them. It makes my want to cry when I think about all the ones who were not rescued and were abused, starved and euthanized at some shelter.
Having said that, congratulations on your beautiful new baby! May you have many long and happy years together!
Breed her as much as u want. Non papered chi chas go for 3 or 400 non papered. These people don't want people breeding there dogs and making feed and med money back. They think they should be the only one allowed to make money off of dogs.
She pretty much looks like it, although her ears are a bit unusual, have a bit of a "bat" look to them. Perfect for Halloween :).
Your puppy is so cute. I have had several chihuahuas and they looked like your puppy. Adorable!
At least mostly. Please do not breed, though. Chis are in the shelters all over thanks to Paris Hilton. She could use a buddy. How bout a shelter rescue? You would have twice as much fun and so would they. That is right after she gets spayed. She will be healthier with a spay. Spaying cuts back on tumors and other sicknesses. No vaccines (see my former posts) and a good diet to build immune system (the pet food on the grocery store shelf is absolute poison). See all of my former posts and you will find my pets live to be 20 years old if I get them in time.
She was given to you so why is it so important to know if she is pure-bred. The only positive why you will know this is by registered pedigree papers. Please don't even think of breeding from her and join the long list of "back-yard" breeders with puppies that end up in pet-shops and the vicious cycle continues.

I really don't know why it should matter. She's adorable and I am sure she loves you and that's all that counts. As others have said, please don't breed her and maybe rescue another little one so she has a buddy :-)
I'm not sure why people are badgering you about asking if your chi is full blood. It's just a question of curiosity people. I'm sure she loves that precious baby but is curious. No big deal to me at all. She looks just like my blonde male chi.
