You are right, Karen. This was the find of the year for me.
Check out the chemicals your putting into your bloodstream at an affordable price. Ouch! You have mineral oil, petroleum (eeck!) along with so any other chemicals you can't even pronounce. If it works for you that's great, but reading the label of each product is so crucial to your overall health. You'd be better off making a concoction of the following recipe below..
2 parts extra virgin olive oil to
1 part aloe Vera gel/juice (only aloe Vera nothing else, can find in health food store)
add the next ingredient below to the two above at room temp.
1 stick of pure cocoa butter or shea butter
(melted on low over a double broiler)
4-5 drops of Vitamin E or gel capsules(check label Vitamin E only)
Need a fragrance? use an essential oil like lavender, ylang ylang, jasmine, neroli, anyone of these would be nice..if it's for feet use tea-tree oil, or peppermint or both!
I'd never suggest placing fragrance on the face, ever!
place this mixture in a blender and let it blend to emulsify for at least 5 minutes. If it's not moisturizing enough for you, melt another cocoa butter stick, add it in slowly then blend again..
Vit. E acts as a natural preservative so it doesn't go rancid.
This is much safer for you and depending on how thrifty you are..you may have $ 4-5 bucks in this entire formula. The pure solid cocoa butter sticks are $1 dollar. You could also beef your formula up with various other oils for your specific skin concerns. Like borage oil, flax seed oil, avocado oil, sunflower seed oil, almond oil, sesame seed oil,
Please be vigilant about what you put on your skin. I say, if I can't eat it, it's not going on my skin, seriously..
