Ingredients

  • 2 lb. small yellow squash
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • melted butter
  • Advertisement

  • 1/2 cup cracker crumbs

Directions

Wash, drain, and peel squash; cut into small pieces and cook. (Do not overcook.) Drain and pour into baking dish. Add butter, salt, pepper and onions. Combine milk and eggs; mix well with squash. Top with melted butter and cracker crumbs. Bake 20 minutes or more until brown at 400 degrees F.
