I would like to know how to remove permanent marker from leather?

Try Dawn dish detergent. I got ball point ink on leather purse and it got it off. I don't know about permanent marker, but I'd give it a try because Dawn will not hurt the leather. It looks darker when wet, but dries. (04/23/2010)

I'd get a Q tip or skinny stick and wrap a bunch of cotton around it and dip in alcohol and squeeze out some of excess. Dab and turn cotton on spots so you always are putting a clean surface on the stain, not re-staining the surface. Repeat with clean cotton until gone. (12/18/2009)
