Fabric Carry All

I made this bag for my pre-teen on a whim, now all her friends and mine want one.

Approximate Time: 1 hour

Supplies:

  • 2 pieces of fabric

  • needle and thread OR glue gun
  • scarf
  • 2 magnets OR Velcro
  • fabric sheet

Instructions:

  1. Put fabric back to back. (You can put a dryer/fabric sheet in between (optional).

  2. Fold fabric in half and make a crease/fold at top, sew or hot glue almost to top of fabric on both sides.

  3. Sew or hot glue one end of scarf to inside of one side of fabric, sew or glue all the way to top.

  4. Glue magnet on inside of fold, about half way down, on both sides.

  5. Take other end of scarf and glue or sew on other side.

I do not own a sewing machine nor do I plan on purchasing one anytime soon (no money). I really enjoyed seeing a craft I can do without using one. Thank you for posting it.
