Glazed Apple Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • Advertisement

  • 2 Tbsp. milk

Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

Cream first 3 ingredients together and add 2 eggs. Sift remaining ingredients together and stir in chopped apples and nuts. Combine with first ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 minutes.

The recipe sounds good however it does not say how much chopped apples you add to it?

What about the pan to use; loaf, bundt, etc. Does it have to be greased or greased and floured?
