Inexpensive Flavored Ice Teas

I like the taste of flavored teas, but making iced tea with them can get expensive if you drink a lot of it like I do. My solution is to use anywhere from 1 to 4 flavored tea bags and 4 regular tea bags mixed together when making a half gallon of iced tea. I usually use 4 flavored and 4 regular bags, so I get a hint of the flavor in the tea, without it being overpowering.

Makes a 20-tea bag box last a long time. You can mix flavored herbal tea and black tea, green tea with herbal tea, white tea and black tea, red tea and black tea, etc. The possibilities are endless, and you can experiment to come up with some great flavor combinations!

yes , I do this too . I put the jar out in the sun and it makes great ice tea without having to boil the water.

I like to make the sun tea. Once I bring it in, I pour about half of it into a pitcher and mix lemonade with it.
You can make it to taste. I like this better than the straight tea. Kay
