What would make my tomato plants leaves turn yellow? I am growing them in a Topsy Turvy Tree. I don't even have any tomatoes on them yet.

Usually when tomato leaves turn yellow the plant needs a few drops of vinegar in the water before watering. Good luck with your tomatoes. Windgate

They claim when they hang upside down the plant gets more water than the roots. Maybe since that's the case they're getting to much water.
My mother has a Topsy Turvy. After she planted her tomato plant in it, the leaves turned yellow. She was watering and all that but it finally just dried up. So she took it down, and was taking the plant out of it and found it had got root bound.
My plants turn yellow on some of the stems too. I have 2 Topsy Turvys. I forgot about using vinegar. How often & how much? You can put sugar in the water as soon as they start changing color, about once a week. 1 -2 TBSP per gallon. Makes them sweet & juicy. Thanks for sharing . : )
Thanks Kffrm88 for sharing Tomatocasual.com. Great stuff on That site as well. : )
