Several years ago, when I had gotten a job working in a casino restaurant. I was required to wear white button down shirts, black slacks, black shoes, black socks. I quickly realized that my shirts were going to be stained nearly every day and I did not want to spend my whole paycheck on clothes. I found out that I could buy men's shirts and socks for about 1/2 the price as I could buy women's.

Hi Terri, What a great idea. I found the children's dept has great buys! The same size small adult is a large child.
I worked in a dry cleaners for many years and believe it or not to launder a ladies blouse was $3.75; a mans shirts was $1.19.....another big savings there too!
I also have worn men's pants - they are better sized than women's - and small men's jackets. Men's clothes are so much better made. And I don't think anyone notices the difference in the way you button them.
I ALWAYS BUY MENS BLUE JEANS. NOT ONLY DO THEY FIT BETTER AND ARE MORE COMFORTABLE BUT THEY ARE CHEAPER AND SEEM TO LAST LONGER. MENS SOCKS ALSO SEEM TO BE THICKER AND OF BETTER QUALITY.AND I LOVE MENS FLANNEL SHIRTS.
Please check your email ettiquette. When you use all Capitol letters it means you are shouting. This gives the impression of anger to anyone who tries to read your email.

I started buying men's shoes, like sandals & gym shoes. They are cheaper & sturdier than women's. Men's shoes run 2 sizes smaller than women's. For example, if you wear a women's size 10 shoe, you would fit into a men's size 8; if you wore a size 8 women's shoe, you would fit into a men's size 6 and so on.
This is a great idea! I usually get men's a-line shirts to wear under white shirts or thin materials. They are longer than women's tank tops and you can buy a pack of 5 for about the same as 1 or 2 women's tanks!
We are being ripped off when it comes to buying women's clothes and dry cleaning. A hidden way to discriminate. I wish there was something we could do about it.
