Produce Containers For Mini Hothouses

Use empty produce containers (like the ones that hold strawberries) for miniature hothouses. It's very useful for a small hothouse, or to start seeds in a small area. When the plants are big enough, just keep the lid open. I did it for my bean plants, and now they're thriving on my small balcony!

I have several old and cracked aquariums (yard sales, flea markets and our local free cycle site. I cover them with either some old plexiglass or I'm sure plastic wrap would work. These make excellent mini green houses and I've started many plants and trees (lemon trees) this way.
