I have 2 tops that have become stained with poppy sap. I have tried proprietary stain removers, but to no avail. Can anyone suggest a remedy please?

I don't know if the procedure to remove Poppy sap is the same as removing tree sap, but here are some instructions on removing tree sap from clothing.
