I needed to transfer some very small pet food to a better container and I couldn't find my funnel, because I live with a lot of people who don't put things back. I tried making a small hole into a sandwich bag and inserting the hole into the container. I was so pleased at how well it worked!

You can also use a sheet of paper (roll it into a funnel shape) or an envelope (just tear off a small corner). It's amazing what solutions we moms can come up with in a pinch!
Great idea & I love your reuse of storage container.
God Bless.

I'm not sure I understand how using a disposable and costly item in a non-resuable way is thrifty. It's great that you are repurposing a juice container, but I'm sure there are better alternatives to a plastic baggy for a funnel.
Plastic soda bottles, such as Pepsi, etc. also make good funnels. Cut the bottom off and use the top part for a funnel.
clever! necessity is the mother of invention, indeed!xx
