Removing Machine Oil Stain from Clothing?

I have a front load washing machine that has leaked what looks like machine oil onto my brand new ski jacket. Any ideas how to remove it without damaging the fabric? It has not been through the dryer, the stain is about 1 week old!

Hi Jennifer,

I had this happen and it is very easy to resolve. Place the garment in a bucket with warm water and a handful of dishwashing detergent. Let it soak overnight. In the morning you will be surprised to find the machine oil is removed. Good luck!
