After draining the fat from ground meat, place the meat on a brown paper bag lined with paper towels. Fold the bag over and squeeze. It's amazing the amount of fat that comes out!

I rinse mine under a colander after It's cooked.
This is a great idea to blot rather than rinse which I have done for thirty years. Because when we rinse, we do rinse flavor from the meat!
