Garden: Baptisia

Baptisia, or False Indigo, contributes beautiful spring color. It is a shrubby perennial that needs to be cut back in fall or early spring. The seed pods turn solid black and rattle in the south wind. It is so very blue - I wish it could bloom all summer!

I used to grow this bush in Indiana. Can't grow it where I live in Montana. Sure miss this beautiful bush!
