For years I have made a dip similar to this one, but this is quicker and very good
Brown hamburger and drain off grease, return to heat. Drain tomatoes and add to the browned hamburger along with the cheese cut into chunks. Keep heat low while melting the cheese, stir often.
Serve with your favorite chips or crackers, or serve as an open faced sandwich and garnish with sliced black olives and sour cream.

Brown hamburger and onion in skillet; drain well (extra moisture may cause mixture to be thin). Add remaining ingredients to hamburger mixture, and heat until bubbly. Best made the day before to give time for the flavors to blend. It can be heated in microwave, or put into crock pot and heated for several hours on low. For a hotter flavor, you can add jalapeno peppers ( I don't). Serve with tortilla chips.
