I don't know if you have girls or boys but I would vote for chocolate.
Green looks nice with purple. I painted my entry with a light, fresh spring green and then painted on grapevines (with purple grapes). Complimentary colors are opposite each other on the color wheel. Do a quick search for the color wheel and complimentary colors. Hopefully you'll find a scheme that calls out to you!
Dark purple
Yellow (the complimentary color for purple)
Dark brown
White
Any shades of pastel
White, brown, gold (great for accents), green, purples.
