I have some cute little mustard jars that I would like to use but first I need to remove the information that is painted directly on the glass. Does anyone know how to remove it?

Walmart sells stuff called Oops that removes paint among other things. It comes in a little spray bottle.
Single edge razor blade.
Use peanut butter. Cover the entire area. After about 30 mins. wipe it off.

Contact the company who is on the label first to find out who made the jars that way. I would start there to try to find out what type of paint was used and if it was baked into the glass.
