Belle is our year old short hair domesticated cat. We adopted her from the animal shelter in our town. She will chase anything that moves, eat bugs, and hiss at my husband. LOLZ
She is a mother to a very cute black striped kitten named Simba, from her second litter (the first 5 kittens she had all died). We kept little Simba from the second litter because he looked like his deceased brothers and sisters we had to bury in the garden earlier in the year!

Have your husband feed Belle a few times when you know she is hungry so that Belle can "bond" with him too. She just doesn't know him yet. This is in case he wants to bond with her. Many times our animals fail to understand a man's louder and deeper voice unless he speaks very softly to them. Especially a cat.
She is beautiful. We love black cats. I'm so sorry that she had trouble saving her babies, but happy that you have one for her to mother.
Thanks for sharing her with us.

She is gorgeous. Happy that you have her but am begging please do not breed. She needs a spay job. She will be healthier for it. When you breed. you create a sad situation for the shelters who have to euthanize almost all that come in. When you adopted from the shelter did you not promise to spay? Belle's kittens will have kittens and kittens kittens.
When you adopt a pet from the shelter, they make sure it is spayed or neutered. You should go back to the shelter, they can send you to a low cost spay & neuter clinic.
She is just adorable. You can have her spay at 4 months of age. Please have her spay and do not breed any more cats. There are too many that are put to sleep because they cannot find homes.
Belle is indeed adorable and Bless you for rescuing her! Sorry to pipe in with the others about spaying for the obvious reason but please know that Belle's life can be greatly shortened by not spaying her because unspayed cats can get oodles of internal diseases.
Beautiful cat, but I agree, please have her spayed. I am shocked that since you were kind enough to adopt her from a shelter, you were not instructed to have her spayed so her kittens would not end up in a shelter, too. There are sooooo many cats and kittens that need homes, please, please do not add to that number.
You did have her spayed right?
Please have belle spayed. There are many groups that will have clinics at a lower cost. Why your shelter did not offer that, I don't know. The fact the first litter of 5 died is not good. Has your cat been seen by a vet? Sadly the cat and dog population is out of control.
