*** What fabric is the sofa made from & what is the stain from? This can make a big difference!
- If it's a "natural" stain (like food) I would use hydrogen peroxide. This is the spot-cleaner I always reach for first!
- OR you could use an Enzyme type pet cleaners. My favorite brand is called "OUT!" & it's sold for under $4 at Walmart. These enzyme cleaner work by using good bacteria & enzymes to "eat" away natural stains. They are made to clean pet pee, blood & hairballs, but these enzyme cleaners can also work wonders on other "natural" stains.
- You could also try a fizzy club-soda or seltzer water.
* ALWAYS try all cleaners on a hidden area first! Before cleaning the actual spot! This tests for colorfastness, etc. Also, always use cold water to clean with because warm or hot water "sets" the stain in.
