Yes.
Just as with people, every cat is unique and some are helped by vinegar and some are not. I recommend only the organic kind.
Also, if you are feeding dry food to your cat (not recommended since it stresses the kidneys and forces them to drink a lot) you must be sure they are actually drinking as much as they were. Some cats do not like the taste and others love it. You need to be sure they are drinking. I prefer to put it on their food because then you know for sure if they are ok with it.
Thanks for looking for holistic help for your cat. You will save so much money by reading about many holistic approaches you can do at home - Reiki, TTouch, Healing Touch for Animals, acupressure, flower essences. Free articles at www.LittleBigCat.com and www.MyhealthyAnimals.com

Add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to a gallon of drinking water to make your pet's coat nice, soft, and super shiny.

It's also good for their digestive system and immune system. (07/30/2009)

The very best cider vinegar is "with the mother" and raw, maybe home-made, but companies do sell it. Not all vinegar "with the mother" is raw, so read descriptions and labels carefully. Oh, and 1 teaspoon per gallon =1/8t in a pint of water, for smaller pets. (07/30/2009)

Oops, and 3 teaspoons to a Tablespoon, so 3/8 tsp. per pint or a not-full 1/2 tsp. measure. (07/30/2009)
