On occasion, I find myself buying hand lotion, hand cream or body lotions that are too sticky, heavy, or greasy. Instead of tossing them, I use them as foot lotion in my socks when I just want to soften my feet for a few hours or over night. I am not wasting any lotion and the heavy stuff seems to work great on feet.

They are often sticky because they are old and too thick. Just add glycerin which is cheap and it thins it out and is a softener too.
i would have never ever thought of that ! good idea! THANKS !
I just mix lotions like these with water. Makes a little go a long way!
I have taken old lotion & even an old facial moisturizer that I don't want to out on my face or is too sticky for my hands & have it convenient to use as a cuticle softener. I have one right by the computer & one on the end table by my chair. Then I don't have to go searching when I want to do my cuticles.
