I'm very shy with my friends because they have long hair, but my hair is frail. How do I grow new hair? My age is now 30 years.

I don't know about making your hair "thicker" but I can tell you that taking Biotin will help you grow more hair. It also strengthens finger nails. Biotin is a vitamin you can buy almost anywhere that sells vitamins.
You may be also blessed/cursed with fine textured hair. Avoid harsh shampoos; I used DHC's (a Japanese mail order brand, look up DHC on 'net), Use only a very soft brush, no dyes or hair dryers. After washing your hair, allow it to nearly dry before brushing, do not comb until all the tangles are out. Follow a healthy diet. This will take a while because you must grow out new hair.
Yes, biotin can help...or you can buy a supplement formulated for "hair, nails, and skin". Any drugstore or Walmart should carry it. I have a question for you though. Have you always had frail hair? If not, it could be an indication of a health problem such as hypothyroidism. If so, you may also notice weight gain/difficulty losing weight, depression, skin problems, and/or feel cold all the time.
Bulk MSM from feed store long as it is pure. Inexpensive. Cannot hurt you only help. I use a tespoon a day in black coffee that is just barely warm.
You grow long luscious hair through using products that won't extract your hairs emollients and take n eat something with much Vitamin k, Keratin is the key
