I need Peg Bracken's recipe for Saturday Chicken (no cheese!) for a party that is coming up soon. I used to have her books, I Hate To Cook and the appendix. Does anyone have it handy?

Saturday chicken (4-6 servings)
1 disjointed frier (or any 6 pieces) chicken
1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup cream (don't cheat, the cream makes a big
difference)
Salt
Garlic salt
Paprika
Chopped parsley
Take chicken, salt and garlic salt it a bit, paprika it thoroughly, spread it out in one layer in a baking pain. Dilute the soup with the cream, pour it over the chicken. Sprinkle the chopped parsley prettily on top. Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.
This is one of our favorite meals. I sometimes add fresh sliced mushrooms to make a little fancier for guests!
Thank you so much. My Hate to cook fell apart from overuse and I have been sad eversince. The best of her books was the beige covered one, in my opinion
I received my I HATE TO COOKBOOK (grey covered hardback) for a wedding shower gift 56 years ago. It truly taught me how to cook and I still use it!
