I use our empty, large dog food bags to hold our cardboard recycling such as pizza boxes, pop/soda cartons, cereal boxes, etc., anything that comes in cardboard. This saves space in my recycling bin, plus the bag gets recycled as well.

Great idea! Never would have thought of it. I recycle all paper and cardboard, and it never dawned on me to put these bags in too! Duh!
Are you sure the bags are recyclable? You're not doing any good if they aren't. It actually pisses the sorting stations off when non recyclable items are mixed it.
