This is an easy project as it is a straight piece. There is no shaping involved. I created this pattern so there are no photos from a magazine, sorry. The knitted piece is flat when you get done. It just takes shape when you put it on the bamboo handles.
Approximate Time: A couple of days, depending on how fast you knit.

Oh this is so nice! I don't knit but I could easily translate this in crochet, hmmm, might even use some rope I found in the attic for the handles instead of trying to source the lovely ones you have on your bag. It's a popular style of purse and I've seen it done in fabric with both types of handles (rope and moulded) but this is the first time I've seen it in wool (yarn), and it looks gorgeous.
