When Should I See Improvement in a Dog Being Treated for Parvo?

Our almost 1 year old female Min Pin/ Chihuahua mix puppy has been sick for 6 days. She started vomiting and having loose stools on Saturday and refusing to eat. On Monday I took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with parvo. The vet has put her on IV fluids at home, shes been on them for 3 days now.

Can anyone tell me whether or not shes gonna make it? The vet gave her antibiotics and yet today, 3 days after the antibiotics were introduced, she still wont eat without being forced and she won't drink at all without being forced. Anyone have some hope for me? She is a very very important part to our family and I love her like one of my kids.

Good luck with your puppy, this is a horrible disease. My puppy got sick 8 days ago, on a Friday night. I took her to the vet early sat. morning, and she tested positive for parvo. She had not completed all of her shots.

She stayed at the vets until Tue. morning. She is now doing great, bouncing around being a normal puppy. I hope everything turns out ok for your dog.
